Meanwhile, more than 250,000 parents follow his @ParentNormal Instagram account where he shares daily parenting humor. Before writing children's books, Chris was a speechwriter and spokesperson for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Florida Department of State. His diverse career also includes time as a stand-up comedian, high school teacher, college professor and producer/reporter for the CBS television station in Birmingham, Alabama. Chris lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and three kids. They are probably together on a soccer field somewhere.
