If you know someone starting law school, this book is the perfect gift for law students, including 1Ls and pre-law students. For students from diverse and historically underrepresented backgrounds, this law school prep book is a reminder that they belong and are capable. Reflecting on her own journey of obtaining a law degree, Cherelle recognizes the intense challenges students face and shares the law school outline she wishes she'd had, with a focus on holistic growth and resilience. The book also provides end-of-chapter reflection questions, encouraging students to connect with their goals and build healthy habits that will support a sustainable, fulfilling career in law. Targeted not only at law students but also at mental health professionals, DEI advocates, and academic advisors, this book is designed to foster a positive mindset and create a healthier legal profession.
