Autorenporträt
Author Bio - Kay McIntee JenningsWith my debut novel in 2019, Shallow Waters, I introduced a thrilling new mystery series set alongside my native Oregon's rugged Pacific Ocean coast. Born in the southwest corner of Oregon in a small town not unlike my fictional Port Stirling, I now live outside Portland, Oregon, on five beautiful acres with my husband, Steve, a technology entrepreneur. With two ponds, a river, forty trees, and rolling meadows, I like to say it's like living in a state park. I've enjoyed a long career in corporate communications in such varied industries as tourism, healthcare, and sports. Since 2000, I've owned Paris Communications, a marketing, PR, and publishing firm. I'm especially proud of my writing and coaching role at BleacherReport.com, a sports website, where my focus was college and NFL football. Ask me anything about sports. Like many Oregonians, I'm passionate about gardening, and earned Master Gardener status. My current focus is a 1/4 acre vegetable garden, where I grow most of the vegetables my family eats. I also love the outdoors, and am happiest hiking, playing bad golf, and enjoying the beaches, rivers, and lakes. I've been known to decamp to the southern California desert during a couple of Oregon's grayest months.A determined, avid traveler since my teens, I've visited dozens of countries around the world. While every place has its charms if you look hard enough, I include Scotland, the Galapagos Islands, Switzerland, Maui, and France's Dordogne region among my favorites. High on my bucket list currently are Japan, and New Zealand.Aside from my rocket rise up book sales charts, I'm currently most proud of winning my league fantasy football championship in 2024!Author Bio - Kay McIntee JenningsWith my debut novel in 2019, Shallow Waters, I introduced a thrilling new mystery series set alongside my native Oregon's rugged Pacific Ocean coast.
