Karl Gagesch is a history enthusiast who grew up listening to the stories of the last generation of Transylvanian Saxons firsthand. He is passionate about sharing this lesser-known aspect of European history, in particular as the Transylvanian Saxons are a distinct ethnic group who have all but vanished from their homeland. He is one of a handful of history enthusiasts who specialize in Transylvanian history. Karl Gagesch lives in Niagara Falls, Canada, with his spouse, Gloria, and their two dogs, Jaxon and Ziggy.
