The aim of this study was to analyse the intervention measures taken by the Minas Gerais Court of Justice to curb marital violence against women in the District of São João Da Ponte - MG, between 2010 and 2014. To this end, the methodology used was a combination of documentary research and bibliographical research. The research subjects were the victims and their respective aggressors.
