Autorenporträt
Cynthia Bowers-Martin, an Akron, Ohio native and the first black United States of America's Mrs. Ohio 2020 is excited to publish her first children's book, which focuses on a topic that's very close to her, self-esteem. Cynthia is not only an author, an inspirational speaker, but she's also a Certified Life Coach specializing in low self-esteem. Cynthia received a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in business administration along with an associate's degree in website development and has been working in the field of Information Technology for more than ten years. Cynthia not only holds two STEM degrees that allow her to successfully oversee IT projects of three European countries, but she's also held multiple beauty pageant titles. Her pageant platform advocates for children suffering with low self-esteem. Cynthia travels to schools, events and conferences speaking and inspiring students to stay motivated in school, showing parents how to reconnect with their children, and helping educators bridge the gap between students and teachers. From someone who once silently suffered from low self-esteem herself, Cynthia created a program called "Unleash The Queen & King," where she provides practical tools and techniques to help children with low self-esteem become the best students that they can be in the classroom and the best people they can be outside of the classroom.
