Dr. Gaiathry Jeyarajan is a University of Toronto-trained physician and professor with expertise in trauma and children's mental health. She is deeply passionate about child welfare, emotional development, and identity. An award-winning author, Dr. Jeyarajan wrote Ella's Choice, an internationally celebrated children's book that explores consent and boundaries. "I Love You More than Rice and Curry" is her second children's book. Drawing on her personal experiences of being bullied for her ethnicity and her journey as a woman of Tamil heritage, she hopes to empower families to embrace diversity and raise confident, compassionate children. When she's not working, she enjoys running, swimming, playing soccer, and spending time with her family.
