Sharon Purtill était femme au foyer et entrepreneuse jusqu'au 1998, quand elle a écrit et publié son premier ouvrage avec son mari. Le succès de ce livre les surprit tous les deux, et ils réussirent à vendre de dizaines de milliers de copies depuis leur propre garage. Aujourd'hui, Sharon est une autrice récompensée, qui a publié dans de nombreux genres sous différents pseudonymes. Sa passion pour l'écriture, la famille et la positivité la poussent à des livres qu'elle espère enrichissantes pour nos vies. Elle voudrait un jour fuir le froid, et écrire depuis une île tropicale où ses plus grands problèmes seraient le sable qui colle à sa crème solaire et son verre de margarita vide. Mais Sharon chérit les mois chauds d'été et le temps qu'elle passe avec sa famille et ses amis en Ontario au Canada.
