J.R. LaMar is a 29-year-old author/illustrator who believes in the power of books and the joy they bring to others. It is his opinion there is no greater gift to give than that of joy. J.R. lives on the beautiful Oregon Coast where he fills the role as the leader of children's ministries at his local church. LaMar is an avid reader who loves going on bike rides with his wife and five children. They thank God each day for the opportunities they've been given.
