Autorenporträt
S.C. Ballard is a lifelong educator and a creative songwriter and storyteller. Based in Oklahoma, he holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Curriculum Supervision and has taught at every level from high school classrooms to doctoral seminars. His career in education has strengthened his belief that imagination, humor, and heart are essential for helping children fall in love with reading and learning. When he's not writing children's books or penning motivational works like his journal New Year's Day...Everyday (under pen name, Penn Quill), Dr. Ballard can be found playing guitar, writing songs, or spending time with his family. His wife and children motivate him to write and sometimes serendipidously lend him some pretty good ideas for his books.
