Kamilah A. Perry is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park. After 15 years in the media and television industry, where she covered pop culture as an on air-personality, producer and editor, she realized her deep love and passion for story-telling. After becoming a mom, her passion for story-telling pivoted from pop culture to telling a different kind of story and in 2017 she debuted her first children's book entitled, A Grateful Heart. She is excited to share her second children's book, I Was Born a Superhero.
