ROBERT PHILLIPS is Professor Emeritus at the University of Houston, where for years he was director of the creative writing program. He is the author of over thirty books of poetry, fiction, and criticism. He has twice been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Author lives in Houston, Texas.
