Raised a Christian, until high school started. Drinking beers and smoking cigarettes the first weekend, then the remaining weekends of that year drinking and etc. 8th grade began smoking weed, which I did until the night of the accident. Wrapped the car around a telephone pole, I was immediately thrown into a coma. Spent 14 weeks in a coma, lost the ability to move my right side of my body(atrophy). Received a brain injury and lost 4 teeth. I needed to go to therapy for 4 years. I knew what I had to do as soon as I arose.. Thank God I was aware enough to recognize the facts.. Trudged my way through therapy (from a wheelchair to a sanitation worker in a number of years). All glory to God.. I can do all things through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13 NIV)... This verse is what I lived by for a very long time..
