Brenda Amanda Mwaya is originally from Malawi and she lives in the city of Philadelphia. In 2023, she became a citizen of the United States of America. Mwaya has published her autobiographical book, "An illegal Immigrant's Journey: How America Became My Destiny," in 2019. Her first Children's book, "If You Are A Kid Straight Out Of Philly," was published that same year. She went on to publish more children's books, including "Mother, I Don't See Things Like You Do!", "Gogi, Which Shade Of Skin Color Is The Best?," "Sometimes I Toot!," and "Mr. Man From Next Door." She is also an inventor and a designer of the patented feature on bags for dog walkers called the "Poochpoopouch." Mwaya loves cooking on her YouTube channel, "BrendasFood." She is also a creator of holistic juices. Her best moments are walking and spending time with her loved ones. Her most favorite calling is motherhood to her four talented children. Her most favorite city in the world is Philadelphia.
