I'll Say Yes, What the Lord Can Do for a Man with a Hardened Heart is a true story following thomas j.'s life journey that started during a major snowstorm in Milwaukee very early on the morning of November 30, 1947. This journey would continue to Warren, Ohio, as a regular kid that included getting involved in church activities and choir, actively involved in Boy Scouts, getting pretty good grades in college prep courses, having two sisters (that's a whole story in itself), and being a letterman on the high school swim team. At seventeen years old, with his parents' knowledge and support, thomas j. made his first major life decision-to join the US Navy, with the desire and intent focused on getting qualified to participate in dolphin research. This focus on dolphin research was modified dramatically when, after finishing several years of specialized training, he qualified and proudly served our nation as a reactor operator aboard USS Bainbridge. This sea duty, starting at about twenty years of age, included four six-month duration combat tours in Vietnam. Might these experiences contribute substantially to the opening chapter of his "certified hardened heart" story? Throughout the next several decades of his life journey, thomas j. would experience hundreds of wonderful life experiences, contrasting with scores of others that would further the hardening of his heart. Please follow along and learn of thomas j.'s love for God's Word, fly-fishing, white-water rafting, sailboat racing, vintage Mercedes-Benz cars, nature photography, working at the ranch, and oatmeal cookies.
