She and her partner come across a murder vicitim, a prominent human-rights activist with a dark past. During the investigation, she's approached by the former Legionnaire, Gregory Arsenault, who offers to help her find his former partner Aziz, but with conditions. As a show of goodwill, Arsenault provides clues to the location of the kidnapped officer by the Maghrebis gang involved in a human trafficking ring. In the middle of the investigation, Genevieve is pressed by her lover, Hector Dupont into revealing a secret she'd hope to never relive.
