Who is Fiona? "I'm just me," answers the main character, who became the official school cat for a community of students. As the book progresses, photographs show us Fiona's constant, calming presence as the reader learns that she is faithful, fearless, and fastidious, among other descriptors that enliven the story's predictable text and repeated lines. As photos reveal Fiona's personality and students share their reflections, we see how Fiona became a participant in daily learning.
