The impact of diet on slowing the rate of the human aging process is a subject of great interest in the fields of nutrition, gerontology and public health. A diet rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory foods, balanced macronutrients and essential micronutrients can promote cellular health, reduce inflammation,and mitigate the effects of oxidative stress. By making health-conscious dietary choices, one can enhance their chances of aging gracefully, increasing the life expectancy and live a higher quality life.

La autora trabaja como profesora adjunta de Zoología en el R.M. College de la Universidad de Pune, India. Tiene un máster en Zoología, un doctorado en Ecotoxicología y está cualificada para CSIR-UGC NET. Ha publicado varios trabajos de investigación y es autora de un libro publicado por LAP, Alemania. Este es uno de sus proyectos de investigación en el marco de la Comisión de Subvenciones Universitarias de la India.
