Louis Becke was an Australian author well known for his adventure collection and evocative tales that took a deep corner in people's hearts. He was born in Port Macquarie, New South Wales where he worked as a trader and Blackbirder in Pacific island which significantly helped him to overcome his literary career. During his career most of the time he co-authored with Walter Jeffrey through which he explored various themes of cultural clashes and challenges faced by both European and indigenous islanders. Most of his books, he always marked by vivid descriptions and provide the best efforts to contribute to his popularity in observation of various topics. However, some of his works faced criticism for not being able to address the cultural representation appropriately and faced financial difficulties that led him to return to Australia in later years. Still, he was able to make enough contribution towards Pacific literature and gain the attention of vivid readers those having an interest in cultural studies and gain valuable insights historical dynamics South Pacific region.
