Set in Tashkent, Andrey Grodzinskiy's In The Loyal Eyes Of A Friend is a rumination on the nature of love and friendship, both with other people and with animals. It is a story about the nature of memories which is tinged with a bright but palpable sense of melancholy. Through Grodzinskiy's vividly drawn characters the reader will come to discover that it's the things you love the most which can cause you the most pain, but it's these same things that can mend your heart when you feel broken.
