He has a degree in Zootechnics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2006) and a master's degree in Animal Science from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (2009). He is currently a professor at the Specialized Academic Unit in Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in the area of animal production.
