La Dra. T. S. Swapna es profesora asociada de Botánica en la Universidad de Kerala y cuenta con veintiún años de experiencia docente e investigadora. Tiene más de 55 trabajos de investigación y ha presentado ponencias en cerca de 90 seminarios y conferencias nacionales e internacionales. Sus áreas de investigación incluyen el cultivo de tejidos vegetales, la conservación in vitro, la fitoquímica.
