Dr. Ken Kwong-Kay Wong is an award-winning marketing professor at Seneca Polytechnic and a visiting professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he teaches master's-level courses on Industry 5.0 and AI Concepts & Applications for Business Leaders. Since 2003, he has also taught marketing at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. A recognized leader in digital learning, Ken is the co-founder of Presentria, a company committed to promoting inclusive education through the use of artificial intelligence, location-based services, and advanced computing technologies. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Minister of Colleges and Universities' Award of Excellence from the Ontario Government in 2020. Ken is passionate about inspiring MBA students and senior executives around the world. He has served as a visiting professor at several prestigious institutions, including the Triple Crown-accredited Aalto University (Finland, South Korea, and Taiwan), Hult International Business School (USA, UAE, and China), Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Netherlands, AMBA and EQUIS-accredited), International School of Management (France, ACBSP-accredited), and COTRUGLI Business School (Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania, AMBA-accredited). In addition, he has trained Deutsche Telekom managers in social media and LG Electronics engineers in customer experience management. With a proven track record in retail education and academic leadership, Ken previously served as Assistant Professor in Retail Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University, AACSB-accredited), where he earned the "A Prof Who Made a Mark" award in both 2014 and 2015. From 2006 to 2012, he was a Marketing Professor and Subject Area Coordinator at Universitas 21 Global (Singapore, EFMD-accredited), receiving awards such as "Outstanding Professor," "Most Innovative Professor," and "Excellence in Online Education". His academic work has been published in top-tier publications such as the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, The Service Industries Journal, Marketing Bulletin, and IVEY Publishing case studies. Ken is the author of AI Concepts and Applications for Business Leaders and the textbook Omni-Channel Retailing: A Strategy for Retailers to Thrive in the COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond. His research focuses on luxury branding and customer experience management. A frequent speaker in Toronto, he has been featured by OMNI TV News, SingTao A1 Chinese Radio, and Fairchild Radio. He has delivered keynote speeches at major events, including Finding the ROI in AI hosted by The Globe and Mail, Customer Experience Management in Digital Channels at the Aalto DiViA Forum in Helsinki, and Omnichannel Imperative, where he served as the opening speaker, also hosted by The Globe and Mail. Before entering academia, Ken held senior marketing positions in the telecommunications industry. He was Vice President of Marketing at TeraGo Networks (TSX: TGO), Director of Product Marketing at PSINet (NASDAQ: PSIX), and held various product marketing roles at Sprint Canada (TSX: FON) and TELUS Mobility (TSX: T). Ken earned his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2006; his MBA from Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Netherlands) in 1998; and his BSc from the University of Toronto in 1997. He was designated a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) by the American Marketing Association in 2002.
