The aim of this work is to analyze the impact of logistics information systems (SILog) on process performance and maturity in the automotive and aeronautical industries in Morocco. Through a hybrid exploratory qualitative study, we observed a complexity in the measurement of process maturity, which led us to group the concepts of performance and maturity under the term logistics benefits. A conceptual model adapted to the Moroccan context was developed, and measurement tools were validated using exploratory factor analysis and CB-SEM modeling. The results underline that logistics profit improvement is possible through optimization of customer service, logistics processes and differentiation from competitors. This model provides practitioners with a framework to guide their strategic decisions in achieving logistics excellence.
