Dr. K. Sripriyan is a faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering, VIT Bhopal University, Madhya Pradesh. He has 17 years of teaching and research experience. He has completed his master’s in manufacturing engineering from AC Government College of Engineering and Technology and Ph.D. degree in welding technology from Anna University, Chennai. He has published 35 peer-reviewed international journal and national journal papers, and conference papers and holds four Indian granted patents. His areas of interest include welding technology, residual stress, and moving heat source model. He is also involved in research projects sponsored by DST, Government of India. He is an active lifetime member of the IE professional society. He edited three books. Dr. S. Balaguru is a senior associate professor and dean in the School of Mechanical Engineering, VIT Bhopal University, Madhya Pradesh. He obtained his B.E. in mechanical engineering from Manonmanium Sundaranar University, M.Tech. from IIT Madras, and Ph.D. from College of Engineering Guindy under Anna University. He carried out his postdoctoral research work at National University of Singapore. He has 28 years of experience in leading engineering institutions out of which he worked as a professor and HoD for 11 years. In 2019, he was invited to Kocaeli University, Turkey, under the Mevlana Mobility Programme with a grant as an international faculty to handle a technical course. He solely authored a best-selling textbook on Dynamics of Machines under the Cengage Learning. He brought out an edited book on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering under Springer publications. In 2008, his proposal fetched a grant of Rs. 8 lakhs under the MODROBS Scheme. Dr. Salunkhe Sachin is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey. He obtained a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad, India. He obtained his master of technology in CAD/CAM and Ph.D. from S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. His research focuses on the realm of press tool design, metal additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence applications in manufacturing, expert systems for die design, sheet metal forming, wear analysis, fatigue analysis, and high strain rate phenomena. He has authored over 120 research papers in highly regarded journals, conferences, and 05 books. He holds the position of an editor for esteemed journals. He has completed significant research projects funded by the Government of India and contributed to internationally funded projects valued at over $600,000. He is a consultant at M/s TATA Motor and M/s Mugad Fusion, Pvt. Ltd., located in Pune, India. Dr. J. Paulo Davim, a highly accomplished full professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, specializing in manufacturing, materials, and industrial engineering, with a focus on machining, tribology, and surface engineering. Recognized globally, he has received prestigious awards such as the 2023 Contribution Award from the Korean Society for Precision Engineering and the 2022 Outstanding Reviewer Award from ASM International, USA. He has supervised numerous postdoc, Ph.D., and master’s students and actively participated in funded research projects. As an editor-in-chief of several international journals, he has an extensive publication record, contributing to books, chapters, and articles. Recognized as one of the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, his influence expands beyond academia, with honorary professorships in China, India, and Spain, and roles as an evaluator for prestigious bodies like the ERC-European Research Council.
