This study explores the partial replacement of cement in M25 grade concrete using fly ash (20-30%) and nano-silica (1.5-4.5%). This study explores the partial replacement of cement in M25 grade concrete using fly ash (20-30%) and nano-silica (1.5-4.5%). Tests on compressive, flexural, tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity were conducted on concrete mixes with different FA-NS combinations and compared with control specimens. Results indicate that the mix containing 20% fly ash and 3% nano-silica achieved the best strength values, surpassing conventional concrete. The improvement is attributed to better particle packing, denser micro-structure, and enhanced pozzolanic reactions. Higher fly ash reduced early strength, but nano-silica compensated by accelerating hydration. Excess nano-silica beyond 3% did not yield further gains. Overall, the study highlights the potential of combining fly ash and nano-silica for producing eco-friendly, high-performance concrete that reduces CO2 emissions, conserves resources, and promotes sustainable construction.
