The work examines the specifics of media coverage of the formation and development of the innovative economy in Belarus. Based on theoretical material, the role of intellectual property in the innovative economy and the influence of the media on innovative culture are determined. By comparing data from the World Intellectual Property Organization, the importance of media participation in creating the appropriate infrastructure for innovative processes in the economy is demonstrated.
