Dr. Joseph B. Nyagwoka is an ordained pastor recognized for his passionate servant leadership and transformational approach to pastoral ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy of Religion from Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP), a Master of Arts from Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), a Doctor of Ministry from Andrews University in the United States, and a Doctor of Theology in Missiology from the University of South Africa (UNISA) with a specialization in Muslim Evangelism. Dr. Nyagwoka is highly regarded by his pastoral colleagues for his skillset church leadership and servant-hearted approach. He served as the Adventist Muslim Relations Director for the Kenya Coast Field of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mombasa, Kenya, a region with a significant Muslim population. In this role, he facilitated numerous interfaith dialogues between Christians and Muslims. Notably, he facilitated a successful dialogue in Ukunda, Mombasa, Kenya in 2008, which included the participation of Christians from across East Africa. This interfaith gathering was sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya. Dr. Nyagwoka serves as a pastor with the South Atlantic Conference of SDA Church and adjunct faculty at Oakwood University (US).
