Carswell serves as professor in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing, and Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia. Sarah D. Kirby is an assistant director for North Carolina State University Extension, professor, and family and consumer sciences program leader in the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences.
