M.J. Thompson is a retired Combat Weather Forecaster who occasionally jumped out of perfectly good airplanes, is a co-founder of Hidden Artists of Sanford, sells real estate, renovates houses, and in her downtime writes fiction novels. M.J., her husband, and four children live in Sanford, NC. Her debut novel, Glass Prison, was born after a jump accident found her with a traumatic brain injury that temporarily plunged her into a dark and silent world in which the only thing she found tolerable was writing with her eyes closed. During those lost days, she occasionally wrote snippets of her experiences. One of which gave life to the women in the debut of her Prisoner Series.
