Samantha Wilson spent several years living in Israel and is a regular visitor from her home in the UK. She has explored every corner of Israel’s little land, meeting people, unearthing fascinating stories and learning about the deep-rooted cultures. Along with the two previous editions of Bradt’s Israel she has authored many guide and travel books, and penned articles for a wide variety of publications including National Geographic Traveller. Samantha currently lives in rural Somerset from where she can write with views of rolling countryside. She makes regular trips back to Israel to travel, research and visit the in-laws, for a country that wasn’t originally on the trip itinerary has become a second home.
