Antonella Cassia is a senior lecturer in Italian, German, and French, and the director of the German program at the University of Miami. She is also the founder of Ultimate Language Services, a company providing language instruction, interpreting, translation, and global leadership training. She holds a Ph.D. in Transcultural German Studies and Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona and she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Roma Tre (Italy) with an M.A. in foreign languages and literature. Before coming to the University of Miami, Antonella taught at the University of Minnesota, University of Arizona, University of Leipzig, and at several community colleges, cultural centers, and high schools in the U.S. and overseas. She has also studied at the universities of Osnabrück (Germany), Wien (Austria), TUM, München (Germany), Jordan (Amman), Saint Joseph, Beirut (Lebanon) and Leipzig (Germany).
