Autorenporträt
Erin is a 4th grade teacher in Vermont and the mother to two adventurous, nature-loving children. After beginning to learn Spanish in high school, Erin went on to major in Latin American Studies at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY and joined the Latino organization, El Grito de Lares. By her senior year, Erin was elected Vice President. One night many years later, her children were listening to a bedtime story their father was telling from his childhood in Puerto Rico, and all of the boys were -ito endings: Carlito, Papito, Wilito. It was the idea that became Erin's first bilingual publication. She has previously published Charlotte's Bones: The Beluga Whale in a Farmer's Field (Tilbury Nature Books 2018) and Where's Winter (BillyFish Books 2018).
