Clayton J. Harrison Jr. is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist who brings heart and cultural insight to his work with individuals, couples, and families. Known for his warm, relatable approach, Clayton is especially passionate about reducing stigma around mental health in communities of color. He is the founder of Perfect Imperfections Counseling LLC, where he supports clients in embracing healing through authenticity, connection, and self-compassion. James Goes to Therapy is his first children's book and reflects his commitment to helping young people feel safe. This book is inspired by his belief that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.
