Angelika Sommer, although born in Germany, grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Angel attended The University of the Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. Angel specializes in children's book illustration-she has also worked with ceramics, painting, printmaking, and photography.
