Jasmin and Hari go to Scotland is Ronalda Hira's first book. Ronalda was born on the Scottish Island of South Uist then studied in Glasgow and obtained a BSc in Therapeutic Radiography. Ronalda has had a successful 20-year career in London's leading Cancer Hospitals. Ronalda is married to Satwinder and they have two children Jasmin and Hari. The idea for Ronalda's first book came from the questions and observations made by Jasmin and Hari whilst on holiday in South Uist. Ronalda wanted to write a book which highlighted the differences her children saw between city life in London and life in South Uist. Jasmin and Hari's observations reminded Ronalda of the beauty and tranquility of Island life.
