Are today’s teens firmly rooted in God’s Word--becoming the Daniels, Shadrachs, Meshachs, and Abednegos of today? Will they be able to withstand the enemy and hold tight to God’s commands as those young people did, and will they live as God would have them in this challenging, ever-changing world? Are today’s teens firmly rooted in God’s Word--becoming the Daniels, Shadrachs, Meshachs, and Abednegos of today? Will they be able to withstand the enemy and hold tight to God’s commands as those young people did, and will they live as God would have them in this challenging, ever-changing world? Believing that teens need more in-depth Bible studies to help them mature well in Christ and become "rocks" in their faith, Candice Mary Thomas has authored the first in a series of studies, Jesus' Words for Teens--Obedience, to help teens "dig in" to God's Word. Although it is written for small groups, the study can easily be adapted for Christian schools and families. Teens will explore what Jesus meant by obedience and how he exemplified it in His life through both group and personal study. They will then be challenged to make "yes" choices: "Yes, Jesus is my Savior. Yes, I want to follow Him. Yes, I believe He loves me because He made Me and will stand by me forever." Finally, they will be encouraged to form convictions out of which they will define for themselves "unshakable unbreakables"--commitments made now that will help them to do God’s will when they face tough choices in the future. Jesus' Words for Teens is written "for such a time as this." [Esther 4:14]
