Themes such as: class struggle, racial clashes, miscegenation, precarious working conditions in the city, Afro-descendant culture and religion, female protagonism, popular social ascension, the power of the elements of nature and urban landscapes, were important subjects throughout the text. This work is based on an ontological reading, where man as a subject is the main theoretical concern.

Elle est titulaire d'un diplôme en géographie de l'université fédérale de Fluminense (2005), d'un master en géographie de l'université fédérale de Fluminense (2008) et d'un doctorat en géographie humaine de l'université de São Paulo/USP (2017) : Colégio Cruzeiro et Colégio Santo Inácio dans la ville de Rio de Janeiro.
