Before starting her own practice, Sleep Dreams(c), she worked at Children's of Alabama and University of Alabama at Birmingham for over 10 years. Her passion for sleep education and a close friend's request led her to write Joshua's Big Night in the Sleep Lab. This book helps children, especially those with Down Syndrome, prepare for their first sleep study. When she's not working, Mary Halsey lives happily in Alabama with her two teenagers and a playful goldendoodle. She enjoys family time, gardening, reading, and whitewater adventures.
