This book offers a general overview of Spanish literature from the 13th to the 18th century, analyzing the main currents, genres and authors in their historical, social and cultural context. The formal features and ideological influences of each period are studied, addressing key figures such as Gonzalo de Berceo, Don Juan Manuel, Jorge Manrique, Garcilaso de la Vega, Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Calderón de la Barca and Feijoo. Through a critical and contextual approach, textual analysis is combined with historical and stylistic interpretation.
