Sue Reardon-Smith was born and brought up in south Wales and educated at Howell's School, Llandaff. Writing both verse and fiction has always been a big part of her life. She has four children and is an interior designer. Though currently based in London, she spends as much time as she possibly can in west Wales, where the Aberteg stories were born.
