Writing, sketching and water-colour painting becomes to Maureen's liking often while daily walking in nature and led Maureen to depart to China in 2016, to teach Conversational English at Tongcheng Teachers College located in a subtropical southeastern area in China. While living in Tongcheng Maureen continues to write free verses and create art graphics for their classroom materials in Horizons in Tongcheng, and of developing generosities or poise in their long-term relationships in Essences of Tongcheng. She begins writing fiction novellas with July's Dream Book 1. Simply said being Irish, Maureen became Irish from her grandparents' emigration from Northern Ireland, obtains Republic of Ireland passport and visits the island of Ireland. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Calgary and Certificate in Family Mediation from Justice Institute of British Columbia.
