Eva Remkar is a Slovenian author, designer, and passionate long-distance walker. With a background in architecture, she has spent decades working as a graphic, web, and interior designer. In recent years, her creative path expanded to writing, resulting in Camino&Me, a growing series of books about the transformative power of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
Since 2017, Eva has walked over 4,000 kilometers across Spain, Portugal, and Slovenia-some journeys alone, others with friends, her youngest daughter Sanja, or even her mother. In 2024, she completed a particularly special journey: the Camino of Three Generations, where she, her 18-year-old daughter, and her 77-year-old mother walked the Camino Inglés together.
Eva's books combine travelogues, practical guidance, and personal growth insights, aiming to inspire those who long for change but hesitate to take the first step. She is a devoted Camino ambassador, sharing the magic of the journey through books, lectures, and online storytelling.
With her work, Eva hopes to empower people worldwide to step into their own pilgrimage-whether on the Camino or in life. Her books are now reaching an international audience, with English translations underway, ensuring that the Camino spirit travels even further.
