Erin Mengeu is a passionate educator and writer who strives to inspire and motivate those who read her books. With her background in elementary education and flair for breaking down big ideas into small manageable steps, she has become a beloved author of children's books. Her first children's book, Growth Mindset: It's as Easy as ABC!, has inspired readers of all ages to embrace challenges and have a positive attitude. Erin's newest book, Just Start with a Line, shows how even the most reluctant artist can produce creative designs with basic lines. Despite her own modest claims of "not being an artist", Erin created simple and charming illustrations by simply starting with a line. Erin currently lives in Midland, Michigan with her husband, Todd and 3 children who inspire her creativity. She hopes all who read her books are inspired to tackle their dreams one step at a time.
