From humble beginnings, he rose to become a leader in the global corporate world, navigating the complexities of multinational organisations and national governance. Along the way, he balanced the roles of a devoted father, a loving husband and a mentor to future generations. A man deeply rooted in his heritage and driven by an enduring faith, he has lived through seismic personal and political upheavals, drawing lessons from each to inspire and uplift those around him. Now retired, he lives with his wife, Sarah, in Cheltenham, England, tending his beloved garden, nurturing his family and reflecting on a life well-lived. This memoir is a testament to the power of perseverance, the bonds of family and the courage to forge one's own path.
