Kaspars Daugavi is a Latvian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League. He was selected in the third round, 91st overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators. Daugavi was selected 91st overall in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators from HK Riga 2000 of the Belarusian Extraliga. Daugavins moved to Canada in 2006 to play junior hockey for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League. At the end of the 2006 07 season, Daugavi joined the Binghamton Senators, the top affiliate of Ottawa, for the final 11 games. He split the next two seasons between the Majors and the Senators. On 1 June 2007, Kaspars was signed to a three-year entry level contract with the Senators
