Autorenporträt
Rogelio Valencia Rivera holds a Master of Science degree from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a PhD in History with a specialisation in American Anthropology from the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has been part of the Calakmul Archaeological Project since 2008. He specialises in Maya and Mesoamerican epigraphy, iconography, history and religion, with special emphasis on the analysis of the relationship between text and image in pre-Hispanic plastic representations.
