In early 2019, Executive Chef Cardie Mortimer held a fundraising dinner for the Tennessee Valley Coalition for the Homeless. The New Jersey native was so moved by the work of the TVCH - not only on a local level but, a national level - he was compelled to further support their efforts by donating the rights to his new cookbook "Keep on Cookin'" to the organization. By gifting the rights to the cookbook to the TVCH, Chef Cardie Mortimer has done something that has never been done with any book on the market today - making this a very unique investment. The cookbook forward is written by TVCH CEO Melanie Cordell, dedicating the book to homeless individuals and educating readers about the TVCH's efforts. All profits from the cookbook will go directly to the TVCH.
