Garrett first knew he wanted to be a writer when he was five years old. By the time he entered the second grade, he had his first story published in the local paper. It wouldn't be until many years later before he returned to writing.During his hiatus, Garrett not only attended college, he joined the Florida Highway Patrol, and was later offered a position with the FBI. After his career as a Special Agent, spending most of his time investigating Counterterrorism threats, Garrett retired and once again returned to writing.Nowadays, you can find him at his home in Upstate New York crafting stories, keeping bees, boiling maple syrup, and a litany of other hobbies that will hopefully keep him from getting into mischief.
