Elaine Chaffer is a passionate educator with a distinguished career that began in 1966. Her teaching journey has taken her across primary, secondary, vocational schools and community adult education classes.In order to capture an essential snapshot of the reading process, Elaine's character "Kenneth" displays twenty six short English phonics in just twelve words. Vowels are colour-coded green, consonants black and consonant digraphs magenta. Their sounds, together with fun worksheets, can be heard at "kennethsrap.com", a free website for all.
